It was an exciting time for the team in December when we were asked to produce and design the first corporate event in the Math’s Gallery at the Science Museum, designed by Zaha Hadid.
Creventive was briefed to produce and manage a festive party for 400 guests. This was not only an opportunity to showcase the magnificence of the Math’s Gallery, but also for a chance for the staff of Zaha Hadid Architects to see the finished gallery.
After a champagne reception in the new space, guests made their way to the Basement (the unknown blank canvas space, under the museum) and danced the night away to epic music by DJ Dan Flack, from Eight Ray Music.
The basement was transformed into a wintery, contemporary setting with a balloon ceiling made from 2000 white and silver balloons, creating a ‘snow cloud’ above the glowing bar, which anchored the room.
The very raw space leant itself well to a wintry theme, the white walls soaked up the lighting and created a warm setting. Pods of seating, from Velvet Living allowed guests to relax and enjoy the stunning food from Bubble Food.
Dessert was provided by the amazing ‘Lick Me I’m Delicious’ in the form of an all-you-can-eat Nitro Ice Cream parlor!!
We had the most amount of fun planning this event and transforming an unassuming space into the hottest place in town.
