For the second consecutive year, Creventive were asked, by the amazing Stonewall team, to design and produce the 2016 Equality Dinner, held at the Hilton Park Lane.
We really wanted the dinner to have a different feel this year, from the Art Deco styling of 2015. As we all know, Creventive love a bit of neon so we jumped at the chance to add an element of this to the party.
We contacted our friends at White Light and started designing what would be a truly interactive and immersive lighting scheme. White light have a huge selection of kit, including a generous amount of LED spheres that just so happened to echo the Stonewall Party Invite.
We all agreed that suspending these from the ceiling was the way to go. Mixing the spheres with brightly coloured encapsulites completed the look.
To compliment the neon lighting scheme, we installed a huge, bespoke designed stage, and two very large projection screens. The stage was camp, it was brilliant and it totally made the guest speakers pop. The energy in the room was contagious.
We had great fun working on the event and Stonewall raised over £400k which all goes into the charity to fight for Equality amongst the LGBT community.
We can't wait to start planning the next event.
