As you know, the Creventive team never turns down a challenge, or opportunity to flex our negotiating skills and create a fantastic event no matter what the budget is.
So when we were approached by one of our Private Clients to design a party around the theme ’50 Shades of Fuchsia’ we jumped at the chance. The client’s brief was to create something completely unexpected and a little risqué.
We knew the budget was tight so we immediately started brainstorming and found ourselves looking at all sorts of items on the internet, some I can’t mention here.Of course we didn’t want the party to look tacky so we decided to incorporate a contemporary and arty feel to the event.
Our client needed all guests to feel confortable so using beds covered in pink satin sheets which created seating and a place for guests to recline…or just jump up and down on them.
Food stalls, which became home to mini fish and chips with mushy peas and chicken curry and rice, were adorned with pink mannequin heads incased in Perspex boxes and bourgie lamps.
The dessert was of course a sweetie bar which was overloaded with an array of confectionary to satisfy any sweet tooth. The stall had secret draws and cupboards for guests to open and find not just sweets.
All this bathed in pink light and a glow booth to complete the look.
We had great fun working on this event and can’t wait to work with the client again.
