Stonewall, one of our very important clients, hosted their 10th Anniversary Annual Award Ceremony at the V&A and Creventive were on hand to deign and produce the event.
Year on year we push the boundaries and include as much as we possibly can into the awards to make them bigger and better. This year was no exception.
We decided that a geometric theme carrying through the elements of the event was the way to go this year.
Using our friends at Light Motif, we started working on the lighting and stage designs that would be a little different to previous years.
As Guests arrived they were invited into the Dome for the drinks reception. The space was washed in purple and yellow lighting with huge geometric patterns projected across the floor. Rocket seamlessly poured champagne and handed delicious canapés to an array of celebrity guests and key figures within the LGBT community.
Once guests were called for the Awards, they travelled down our purple lit corridor which pulsated like a heartbeat, creating the anticipation of what was to come.
The Raphael Gallery, complete with 400 golden seats, horse shoed around a geometric stage where Sir Ian McKellen took his moment to captivate and host the ceremony.
The Raphael gallery was bathed in purple uplighting with canary yellow accent colours, the vaulted ceiling was covered in triangular shapes which was like looking at a spaced aged sky.
Each award was hosted by a celebrity guests and were giving to very worthy individuals and groups which all help change the views and fight for equality.
Once the awards were over, guests were invited back into the Dome which was turned into a vibrant nightclub, with DJ Wayne on the decks and moving lights strobing as everyone danced the night away.
