Creventive kicked started the busy autumn season with a request from a very special client of ours who needed full event design and conceptualisation for the biggest event in their diary.
Creventive got to work, we had the venue already which was a great start. The Zaha Hadid designed Magazine Restaurant attached to the Sackler Serpentine Gallery was an organic canvas that inspired our final design.
Using a 2D meets 3D design, we wanted to incorporate projection, digitally printed canvases, along with a truck load of trees and foliage to create an awesome event-scape, an immersive surrounding for 90 VVIPs to dine.
We partnered with Event Concept and Veevers Carter and begun telling them of our ideas and vision, a synergy soon struck and by the end of the meeting we were all very excited about the end creation.
Kofler & Kompanie who manage the venue, designed their menu to reflect our styling and soon we were hitting all 5 senses.
The end result was breath taking, guests arrived to glowing spheres of light, that were made to look as if they were growing from the concrete, a grey carpet which led to 7’ high pieces of driftwood covered in succulents, artworks in their own right.
The dining area where over a hundred feet of snaked tables hosted the stunning cuisine, a centerpiece consisting of geometric vases, succulents, asparagus ferns and driftwood would span the full length of the table. A forest of canvas and trees made the focal point and to echo the design, tree-scapes were projected onto the walls drawing the guest in.
Forest and bird sound effects were played which added another layer and depth to the atmosphere, once guests were seated, classical music with an Ibiza beat was piped in underneath again adding another dimension.
The night was fantastic, and as the sun set, became more and more vivid.
